Maria Iranzo, professor of Journalism at the University of Valencia and researcher at Iberifier, explains which actors are promoting gender disinformation. Iranzo points out the boats, trolls, pseudo-media and some media as a source of false information that damages women, the feminist movement and the people of the LGTBIQ+ collective. “Gender disinformation affects all political groups,” says Iranzo, who also criticizes how this type of content is disseminated on social networks and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
