What it is

The consensus among the scientific community is that disinformation refers to any false content or information created and distributed with the aim of deceiving people and deriving a political, economic, personal or other return. When people spread such content without realizing it is false, this phenomenon is known as misinformation. As well as learning about these and other concepts, this section will focus on studying all aspects associated with such phenomena: the sources of propagation, the most common topics of disinformation, the evolution of disinformation and other aspects.
